Can already tell this is gonna destroy my emotionally

Finally figured out you can change what edition of the books you're reading so I don't have to manually find out percentage. I was gonna try and finish this tonight but I cannot keep my eyes open. Love love love the prose but goodness gracious me I'm not smart enough for all this philosophizing

Had to order this from France because they haven't translated it to English yet. I just read a little bit before bed and I'm already satisfied with my purchase. I know he was like cheating on his wife and stuff but reading Camus' letters is so beautiful to me. More men should be desperate yearners

Started this before bed last night bcs I've been wanting to read it for so long. Very cool so far

Was doing some light reading before bed and then out of the blue two main characters died. Sure I guess

I am never going to read another book on my phone ever again after this. I swear if I had this on paper I would've finished it five billion million years ago but I literally cannot bring myself to read more than a chapter at a time. Maybe I should get a kindle

Rereading but en français - absolutely adore this book, even if I am a bit too stupid to fully understand all the philosophical stuff

We're back. Still really only care about Agnes but at least the pacing is getting a bit better

The Laufey Book Club meeting has come and passed and I'm still not even halfway finished with this book. Things are finally getting a little interesting, but I fear that all of these characters are so one dimensional and I cannot connect with any of them. The prose is so so bland for the third person sections, but so so well done in the first person sections. I'm done with Laufey Book Club after this. I miss Malazan

Finally done with exams so I can lock in on this! Somewhat mixed feelings atm bcs the first person prose is so so well done but then it shifts to third person when from another character's pov and suddenly it's just.. not great. Story is intriguing though and while I only care abt 3 of the 5 main characters rn I'm excited to see where it goes :)

I've been so so busy lately but I finally made enough time to finish Book 2. So freaking good oh my god
