Violence and brutality have the same meaning, but brutality makes it seem more serious and real.

Freedom Summer is a non-fiction book about what was happening in the summer of 1964. The main goal of the book is to educate the reader about what, why, and how things were happening.

The goal of the author is to highlight the history of the summer of 1964. He wants to show how America was affected by this major event.

It started with a story about how a white man shot a black man. It didn't tell the reason why, but it told that he got away with it. It caught my attention because it's crazy to think about getting away with murder, because the person you killed was black.

I chose Freedom Summer, and I chose it because you never get to hear about these things in depth unless you learn them on your own.

I know I wasn't alive when it happened, but when 9/11 happened, I've heard and seen how the whole country came together united through a terrible tragedy.

It represents the theme of how their future or their string is uncontrolled and that whatever happens, happens, so make the most of what they have now.

I think that I would be more like Nina, and that I think that it's fine to not want to date a short-stringer, but why not give it a chance? I think it's unfair that someone isn't given a chance just because of their string.

I would spend time with my family and friends because they're the most important people in my life. I think I would mostly just do what I'm always doing. Things like playing sports, video games, lifting, and hanging out with friends.

I agree that they're like other minority groups because they have things taken away from them because they have short strings. They should fight for their rights because even if they have a short string, they can still contribute to society.

I would like to think I would jump in front of a bullet, but I probably wouldn't.

I wouldn't open my child's box without permission because I would be betraying their trust in me to not look. I think it's also better as a parent to enjoy your time with your child because you won't be there forever.

I don't like him because he's egotistical and makes fun of his own family. He unknowingly told Jack that he was a mistake and then made fun of Jack's mom.

Hank wasn't taking it well. He had an incredibly short string and could die any day. Anika found out about his string and tried to comfort him through it, and at first, he was angry not at her but at his string. Then he screamed into a pillow and cried, which made him feel a bit better.

Nick is much happier now. He got his bike back from his bullies, he could play soccer again, and his crush liked him back.

Nick can finally play soccer again after he had appendicitis and a sprained ankle. I can understand why he was upset because I fractured my foot and it sucks to not be able to play sports or lift. His parents also split up again but he's taking it better than the previous time.

Nick would be a pickle. He would be a pickle because sometimes they are sour and sometimes they are sweet and you never know which is which until you take a bite of it.

Nick would choose "When People Ask Me How I'm Doing" because he felt terrible after being told he couldn't play soccer for the next three weeks. He had a big game next week, but his appendix burst and his ankle sprained, so he isn't allowed to play.

Nick is upset about his parents splitting and that he doesn't like his dad. He also hates how he had to go to therapy instead of a soccer tournament.

A word that I learned was mewling. Nicky's soccer team lost to another team and was kicked out of the soccer. His mom said that it looked like the kids were crying but Nicky said that they were mewling.
