Realising how bad pentecostalism is with this book - the amount of "Christians" in the world is a tragedy

Very hard to digest - so much! But never the less very important

Ignatius and the early church were pretty unanimous on the eucharist i dont understand how a low tier evangelical can stay there

So Far so good - not much to add other than progress as my same expressions and thoughts are the same as the previous update

Been a bit behind on reading recently - but again so far all that continues to get bolstered is how un-christian protestantism really is in this book.

Really interesting reading his journey through athiesm to hinduism - and then through protestantism to orthodoxy - like his prebious book which I would say is a smaller breif description, wr understand the issue with Pagan Gods

So far good read - He was friends and taught by Apostle Paul - very interesting how everyone believed in the real presence

The protestants who claim the bible fell out of the sky must be crazy there is zero historical evidence for their paridigm

60 pages in and again another update - As a former protestant I am once again dumbfounded and shocked to see all of the truth being hidden away due to the catholic church, but so far a great read understanding how God interacts with the world

This is gonna be a slow read - each page is dogma so gonna probably end up re reading

Again - another update. This is hard to process and will take a long time to understand and its surprising considering this is all surrounding the filioque aka "the son" in the nicene creed. This two word addition by the catholic church has stemmed so much debate and surprising they even added ti something originally understood as truth. So far getting this understanding from the book

This is gonna be an absolute mouthful to get through but for a TLDR surrounding this - the Council of Ephesus and Council of Chalcedon of the early church will give you an idea of why this is so important

Nearly finished this - forgot to update as a friend kindly reminded me - I would say Lee Strobels work and EE Bruces work on the old testament canons are a lot more resourceful but I would also say this is useful for bolstering the majority of that idea of a loose canon

Very good so far - his work on rhetoric is also really good but i think this pairs well especially for apologetics in religion

Really good sir far - good points on ecumenism and the issues with the metaphysical claims of other protestant christians, catholics and other religions. Ecumenism is a heresy which has become more popular especially in the west and Fr. Rose makes some good points on that. The root of truth is in itself objective, not shattered.
