As Beau tries to find a way out, a storm of mysteries unfold. Arabella shows affection one minute, but wont let Beau get too close. Arabella continues to put up her nonchalant mindset when talking to anyone, but why?

Beau is confused. Where is he? When will he get let go? He doesn't have enough information to escape. That doesn't mean he wont try. Beau is trying to use his skills as a thief to his advantage, while trying to escape. The mysterious castle traps him inside with its energy. When will this end?

As a group of very close friends, also known as thief's venture into a new area, they stumble apon a castle. Unfortunately for them entering this castle would open their eyes to a new conflicts. As friendships are broken so are hearts. We don't know if Beau will make it out.

As these Teens push through the harsh climates, it seems like nothing will ever get better. Problem after problem occurs. Once they think they solved something, boom. Another bad thing happens. It seems to be a never ending cycle of devastation. Things are still not looking bright, they need some light in their life.

As they are still trapped on the island. Although things are getting rough, they are losing food, and there are no signs of rescue. They still keep going and try to push through for each other. Just when things were starting to look negative, a positive happened. But how long will this positive stay?

These 4 young adults are independently living on this island. Without parent care, options are running slim. With little to no food and the tragical storm that just washed through, things aren't looking too good for them.With many efforts to get rescued, motivation is also running low. What will these kids do?

These teens are getting relentless. Nobody has found their location yet and food is starting to run slim. They are starting to get in subtle arguments and separate. Some even aren't talking to each other. They explored the mosquito infested forest, but found nothing but a cave. Options are running slim, what will they do?

These 4 close friends/family are on a little trip. They are off at sea in a sail boat. A horrible storm crosses their path. There is no way to avoid it. While they are in the middle of the ocean disaster strikes. Members are lost and some have disappeared into the ocean. What will the children do?

This family is on a vacation on a discreet island. The point of view switches between Davey who is a son/brother,his sister, and this teenage girl from a different family. Davey has left his hotel room secretly for alone time, but his brother wakes up and he is not there. His brother isn't too alarmed, but definitely curious.

The Japanese camps were starting to dwindle. The Japanese soldiers were little to none, they were sent off to war. After the Japanese said that America had won the war and the prisoners were free to go everyone was so proud and enthusiastic. Although Tree wanted revenge, he stayed calm and collective and eventually made it back home. After he made it home he went to go see gunny, who he now works for and lives with.

Tree wants revenge. Ever since Jams died Tree and Gunny aren't the same. Tree knows he cant do anything but he feels like he has to. The labor at his new camp is even worse than the labor at his old camp. He gets beat more often as well. I honestly don't know if they will get rescued or even stay alive enough time to get rescued.

Gunny is usually a pretty tough guy. He has never cried or acted upset. He tries to stay strong and keep the hopes high. For the first time ever he cried in front of his unit. He lost 2 of his men that meant a lot to him. So far the camp have went on for 3 years and there are armed forces on their way. Even though the Japanese are moving the prisoners, I think America will find them soon.

Tree took the blame for something he didn't do and was captured. He was tough and confident he made the Leader of the camp leave and a new guy came in. I can tell the Aussies and Americans get along very well and they are in what seems to be a peace treaty between the prisoners.

I pieced some clues together in these chapters. The japanese soldiers that run the camps are the worst fighters or the stupidest. If they were smart they would be working with coordinates and attack planning. But if they were good fighters they would be on the battlefield fighting for the emperor.

Tree is super tough. Like I mean really tough. He takes multiple beatings without a single noise coming out of him. He even saved an Australian, the Australians now praise him for his efforts at saving their fellow member. Tree is mentally very strong and can get over anything

During this war with the Japanese they are ruthless. The Japanese have no mercy for injured or sick. They beat innocent prisoners who beg for water. It's seems as if they are the bully in this situation. Tree and gunny are started to get close and stick with each other as they deal with the Japanese officials interrogating them.

We still don't know the real name of our main character, his nickname is tree though. I've noticed they call him tree because he is quite tall. He seems to really care about those around him and cant bear to see the Japanese soldiers hurt his fellow troops. He also seems to be quite tough and wants to stay strong for the Marines.

So far I haven't gotten much on any main characters or really what's going on in general. The most I've gotten is setting. Right now the Marines are in the Philippines. They are huddled in the barracks waiting to defend they're camps.

We got a new character introduced. Her name is Christine and she applied for NASA and received a job. She hasn't really contributed much to the story so far or caused any major turning points but she is still pretty new. It's currently around 1970 and they just sent the first man up into space to orbit earth 7 times. Katherine played a huge role into John Glenn making it to the moon, her efforts were displayed widely

NASA is officially starting their moon journey. Its also is kinda of cool and crazy that I'm reading about John Glenn who our local airport is named after. He is the first trainee that's going to be landing on the moon, I've also noticed that NASA is a perfectionist type company. I guess it has to been since they are risking lives to go to space, an example would be that they ran 1.3 million tests just to go to space

Since Russia is starting to catch up with technology, America took it upon themselves to advance ours. Katherine so far has made a huge impact and a few characteristics of her would be confident.smart, and tough. I say confident because she always backs up her work and doesn't let people walk all over her.

Although segregation is starting to get illegal its still major. A bigger conflict would be that Katherine is asking a lot of aggressive questions. She is trying to defend that being a woman doesn't means he is stupid but her actions are starting to show she might be let go soon.

NACA got their first electronic computer. Many of the human calculators are very concerned for their jobs and taking classes just in case they get let off. I predict that in the next few years the electronic computers will start to take over for the humans and they wont need the humans to work any longer.

Katherine was introduced this chapter. I've noticed the author has 2 chapters about each person or main character then goes on to another one. The author also shows that they are tied to each other with invisible strings. Sometimes they are around each other without even knowing the future they will have.

Racial segregation caused Dorothy to take a leave of absence and get her masters degree back in college. I've noticed throughout the chapters even if your a high rank they will still look down on you for your color. Her friend got promoted to work with models in the world fastest wind tunnel and it seems she will stay with the company based off her enjoyment for the work she is completing.

So far we don't have any conflicts in Dorothy’s story yet. She has gotten promoted many times and is an efficient , always correct, and fast worker. I have a feeling something bad will happen soon, racial segregation is still a huge factor in her life so maybe that will have something to do with it.

Robie was so mentally drained she thought she was hallucinating a boat. She refused to believe it was real. She did anything she could to refuse to believe it was real, but it was real. She was finally safe again but nobody can fathom that she survived the plane crash.

I haven't gotten a lot of information to type about but so far we can tell it was rough for the african american women. This book is more of a long essay. I'm used to the story being told in fist person but this book isn't like that.

Turns out the whole time she thought Max was with her she had been hallucinating. Max was never there. When we helped her to the raft after getting the water out, he was dead the whole time. She had needed him to be there, or wanted him to be there so she imagined all of it to bring her comfort.

Robie is starting to mentally go crazy. She cant stop screaming at Max or just screaming in general. Max barely talks to her which makes it even worse and more hard on her. If she doesn't get rescued soon I don't know how long she will be able to make it.
