25% in and I’m fully drawn into Burning God. Normally parts like this (lots of introspection and inner monologue) don’t grab me this fast, but the way R.F. Kuang describes everything just works.

The opening was raw and tense and now it seems to be shifting into character development (that’s actually well done). The writing is very vivid, which makes it an easy and immersive read
