« the glass essay » is one best things ever written in the modern century. the god poems were less for me mainly because i have no religious background or interest, so it’s not really a subject that resonates with me — god damn though the woman can write.

was talking to a man on hinge about what i was reading and he said “oh based on the online description, i wonder if the author took inspiration from stephen king” and i replied, “oh bbg this is a post-cold war book published in 1968; you should be wondering if stephen king took inspiration from HER.” anyway having a slightly hard time getting into, no dialogue breaks are tough.
