In most books like this, we’d be beginning to wrap things up or getting pretty damn close to starting to land the plane. If something doesn’t happen in this plot soon, I don’t think I can finish this.

I’m already beginning to see the writing on the wall for how bad events are about to become. It’s called Dark Age, so I know it’s only going to get darker from here.

Pierce, I can tell you’re about to make Darrow and, by extension, myself suffer deeply.

I have reached May 26th’s entry in Dracula Daily. I’m striving to not get behind and to finish it in real time this year.

I have so many ominous vibes from this story. Very excited to start getting into Szeth’s backstory.

Part one is finished and I really am just begging Brandon to let these characters be happy. I like the slow moving progress of the updated war status, but I know it’s only a preview of how much chaos is coming. Taravangian’s plotting will soon come to fruition and I know it will bring with it great pain.

Authority is done and I found it more interesting than Book 1. It may be that the shady government agency plotline hooked me a bit more than Annihilation’s more general sci-fi horror.

I’m really enjoying the intrigue of this murder mystery in the tower and Dalinar figuring out his past. I’m not really into Kaladin’s current plotline, but I really enjoy that we are getting some depth to the Parshman who are freed. It wouldn’t be as interesting if they were just all faceless evil monsters

Finished book 1. I need a minute to process all of that.

Made it to the beginning of Jaehaerys I’s reign. Maegor is one crazy SOB. Excited to get to stay with one monarch for a long time.

Finished up to part 3 of 5. Going to take a break and get back to it on paperback soon.
