5/12: 5 Types of Conflict: The conflict in my book is character vs character. I know this because there are 5 kids trying to win the candy making contest. They are competing for their candy to be sold by the Life is Sweet candy factory. To add on, the characters are friends with each other, but they all want to win very badly. Who knows if someone wants something other than just winning the contest.

4/28 THE 7 STORY ARCHETYPES: The plot that describes my book the best is the quest. In my book they are having a candy making contest. They have to go through many obstacles like making the best recipe to make the best candy. They go through people who can try to bring them down. Sometimes they get tempted to try and steal someone else's candy. Also, whoever wins the contest will have their candy worldwide.

4/21 SETTING: The setting in my book is a candy factory. It is the "Life is Sweet" candy factory owned by Logan's parents. Logan is at the factory all the time and hardly ever leaves it. In a scene Logan opens the doors for 3 other children looking to become candy makers. Also, it is at noon in the sunny day. So, the setting of my book is the "Life is Sweet" candy factory.

ANTAGONIST: The antagonist in my book is Melvin Sneedley. I know that he is the antagonist because he is trying to steals Jake's intelligence very badly. Also, he forms a big group of extremely smart people so he can can figure how smart Jake is. So, the antagonist of my book is Melvin Sneedley.

POINT OF VIEW: The point of view in my book is 1st person. I know that it is the 1st person because the characters are talking about everything. Jake is the main character and he says things like how he became the smartest kid in the universe. He is the person talking for most of the time and if he isn't, then someone else is. So, the point of view in my book is 1st person.

CHARACTERIZATION: In my book Logan feels many different emotions. In the past, Logan got burned very badly and has burn marks all over him now. He doesn't let that bother him and he still tries his best to do everything. He is super kind to everyone he meets and has made many connections. He has made connections with people like the workers in the factory. He always tries to do his best in creating things like candy.

The inciting incident in my book is when Logan was entered into the competition of a bunch of kid candymakers. He was old enough to compete in the competition like his dad and his grandfather. He has a lot of pressure on winning because everyone in his family has won it. So, the inciting incident in my book is when Logan had a compete in the Candymakers contest and try to win it all.

THE QUEST: The plot that most explains the book that I am reading is The Quest. In my book, there are four children competing in a competition for the best candy. On their way to creating their candy they have to go through many obstacles. They all want to complete what they are doing very badly. So, out of the 7 plots, The Quest explains my book the best.

In my book I can visualize some taste of candy. When Logan went inside of the Marshmallow Room, he ate a golden gooey marshmallow. I can visualize this of me at a campfire with a marshmallow on a stick. Then I can eat it or make it into a s'more. For this to happen I read that Logan wanted to have a sweet snack and he had a marshmallow. I made the connection and visualized me tasting and eating it.

In my book, Jake, is at a camp and he is at a campfire with his friends. I remember this happened to me in real life at a campfire. I got to laugh with my friends and have a really good time. It was a really amazing experience just like Jake got to have. So, I got to make a connection with text to myself.

In my book, Jake, is a brave character. He has done missions for the FBI and the government. He has had to be transported from his school all the way across the country for days. Jake helps solve puzzles to help save his country from horrible things. Also, he always helps his family and he learns Spanish just to help his little sister with her homework. Furthermore, he has been brave for many different reasons.

The antagonist in my book is Zane Zinkle. He is the creator of Zinkle Inc. and has created a camp of all of the smartest kids in the world. After Jake became the smartest person in the world, Zane Zinkle has been jealous. He wants to be the smartest person in the world again. He has made the camp for his plan to make Jake dumb again. He offered Jake, phones for his school if he attends the camp so his plan works.

I wonder if Jake's superintelligence will ever wear off. In my book Jake is always questioning if the jellybean effect will wear off and he will disappoint everyone. If his jelly bean effect wears off, will he still know some important things. Furthermore, Jake learned Spanish by studying and not from a jellybean, so would Jake still know how to speak Spanish.

In my book Jake is a dynamic character because he ate a jar full of jellybeans that made him extremely smart. Also, Jake had to go through being not that smart to super smart in a day. Furthermore, Jake's best friend, Kojo, who is a static character doesn't change. Kojo makes appointments for Jake and goes everywhere with him. Kojo has done the same and continues to even when people need only Jake.

The conflict in my book is character vs character. This is the conflict because Jake, Kojo, and Grace are trying to defend their school against their principal. Their principal, Mrs. Malvolio, and her uncle are trying to destroy the school to build apartments. The students are trying to defend their school by winning the State Quiz Bowl so that their school isn't the one getting destroyed in the district.

My prediction in this book is that Jake's jellybean effect will wear off. I think that it will wear off during the Quiz Bowl on the final round. This is my prediction because if there is a timer on the jellybeans, I think that's when they will disappear. So, I think that Jake's jellybean effect will wear off.

The protagonist of the book is Jake. In the book, Jake's thoughts are about how he is the smartest kid in the universe and how to save his school. He wants to save his school, Riverview, from his principal shutting it down to make apartments. Furthermore, his feelings for the school is that he wants to keep the school operating. To add on, Jake wants to continue the history of the school.

My book is in the 1st person narrator. I know that it is in 1st person narrator, because it has words like "I", "me", and "we." So, I can infer that my book is the 1st person narrator.

The setting of the story is at a top rated hotel in the city. The time of the scene was at night when Jake and his little sister went to get dinner at the hotel. This is when Jake was waiting for his food and found the jellybeans on a counter, and ate them. He then became the smartest kids in the universe.

The theme of the book is science fiction. I know this because it is not real. Also, I know this because it is how scientists are predicting and creating things that will happen in the future. So, I know that it is science fiction.

In this book Jake ate a bunch of jellybeans which made him know everything. It is really interesting what will happen next. Also, a lot of people do not know what is wrong with him as he knows everything.
