Omg the puppet show had me hooked! Never thought a children’s story would have me eating popcorn in the dark. I felt like I was in the theater with the little kids sitting front row and hanging on the storyteller’s every word!

Omg I literally LOVE the Lore Master. He’s hilarious, reminds me of any unhinged middle aged man from anime I’ve watched. (Gildarts, Shigute and Ayama Sohma, even my own real life Sensei in a small way). This book is so nostalgic and I really relate to Rin’s struggles.

Foreshadowing? Also hilariously CSUDH is a “drug free campus” but the students definitely aren’t drug free imo😭🫰
