War is over. Vyry seems scared of the future, still clinging to what she knows.

Writing can be a little stilted, as if the narration has not quite settled itself yet. But I'm interested.

Partway through the war, lots of death. I anticipate that Salina's war bonds are gonna bankrupt the family. Randall is ill. What will Vyry do?

Quidditch was fun, enjoying the bgm.

I don't have any intelligent thoughts, just highlighting everything! It feels good to see someone addressing patterns I've noticed in a critical way!

Child lbh, wine chapter, now in honeymoon. Wine chapter was fine, but again unsexy and unsatisfying. Lots of references to parental relationships, which I don't know what to make of.... I feel like this is a medium for the author's grievances in a way? With online drama.

I found the sfx a bit overwhelming at first, but have gotten used to them. Like the music a lot. Excited to hear magical sfx.

Getting toward the end of the set up, some silliness has started to show up. :)

The last 20% is unrelated previews. This story went in some unexpected directions, and I did enjoy it, but the ending was a little unsatisfying. It didn't really feel like a love story either - there was more with Diana in that respect.

War has started, Johnny has headed out. Promised to free the slaves if they protected their family/land. What game is he playing? Did the master's will really state to free Vyry?

Finished. My suspicions were mostly right, but a few parts felt undercooked.

Talking about the history of the feminist movement and the sexual revolution. 'sex positive' feminism. Surprised that modern conversation is still stuck on the exact same topic.

The plot twist was a little out of nowhere, and I'm not sure exactly what's going on, as we finished partway through the arc. The ending was suitably dramatic, but I wonder how long they can continue this misunderstanding between the leads? I felt a lot of info was pulled out of nowhere all at once, no foreshadowing at all.
