This story is better than I thought it would be. Too bad I'm flying through it

More world building but a slower paced story this time around, which isn't a bad thing. This book seems to be setting goals and conflicts that will go on beyond this installment.

Loving it, but it's written in an academic form. Kinda reads like a research paper a bit. The problem is that I'm listening to it on audiobook, so I miss facts when I'm driving or occupied with something. I think the editing could have made it a little easier to absorb but whatever. I'm still learning a lot and enjoying it

I'm enjoying this entry a lot more than book 1. I think I've gotten accustomed to Brando Sando's style by now, though I still have an issue with the interludes

Took a hell of a long time to get me hooked but here I am *waves a flag for Kaladin*

This book is oddly paced for me. Kinda feels like it's meandering a bit. I'm still not quite sure what the inciting incident is or how the characters' narratives are helping out the big picture. Another tough aspect is that, unlike other fantasy novels, you're slammed with so much new words and phrases that it makes it hard to follow. I still like it though. These are just observations
