Okay listen, I can only read Philosophy for so long before my head hurts. As much as I'm liking this one, it'll probably be a while before I pick up another unless it's shorter and a bit newer, say maybe within the past 1000 years or so

A friend of mine who lives nearby and who's a Philosophy graduate wanted to go through the Republic again, which is a lot shorter. I'm focusing on reading along with them and will resume reading Monte Cristo after.
As a matter of fact, I just picked it back up and read four chapters. Man, I love that book.
