Just reading their first encounter and my heart hurts.
Damon has been wrong in so many ways in the past books, but he’s in pain. And he has been since he was very young and no one has given him the option to work through it. I might have hated what he’s done but I could never hate him, PD’s incredible writing helping with that.
This book is going to hurt, I just know it.
