I love to hear Jennette’s story and understand more about her dysfunctional relationships since I relate with similar relationships of my own. I hope she speaks on where her positive influences were to make her such a well rounded individual, because yes, she has her issues, but she it seems like she only draws her anger towards those deserving mostly. We’ll see moving forward.

Cleared another 10 chapters and just got into iCarly territory. This is were I know Jennette from originally, so now my interest is peaked and I hope she also shares more behind the scenes of the acting world.

I love the retelling thus far as Jennette goes through a series of memories that paint the picture of her mother’s life and her relationship with her mother. This is the greatness I was told repeatedly this book offers and I didn’t doubt it, but also wasn’t ready for what was to come. Note I can’t wait for more.

The stories’ concepts are interesting but I prefer stories more spelled out to understand the true meaning. The interest of the actual story is not there for me

I find the stories to be serviceable, but can use more creativity to the twist of the stories to drive home the point of each story more. My thoughts are, if you’re going to make up a world rule, then why not make it as absurd as possible, as long as it fits your narrative.

The funeral is turning out to be interesting with little cutaway.

The three chapters about Penelope’s, Eve’s, and Ward’s backgrounds should’ve been earlier in the book instead of close to the end and not back to back chapters.
