The description of Evie has my spidey senses going off a bit. Why’s so much focus being put on some enby person being pushy when Nell didn’t ever communicate her discomfort with their advances clearly? Homegirl you’re on the spectrum the same way I am, stop speaking neurotypical when it clearly isn’t working

Nell’s experience with romance as an autistic person is so relatable it’s concerning. It’s like the author is reading my damn mind.

I do find that there tends to be a lot of bracketed commentary that asserts facts you could deduce from the text itself. They feel unnecessary.

Really cute so far, steadily getting me out of my reading slump. Probably better for an autumn read considering the aesthetic the book is trying to go for though
