The description of Evie has my spidey senses going off a bit. Why’s so much focus being put on some enby person being pushy when Nell didn’t ever communicate her discomfort with their advances clearly? Homegirl you’re on the spectrum the same way I am, stop speaking neurotypical when it clearly isn’t working

Nell’s experience with romance as an autistic person is so relatable it’s concerning. It’s like the author is reading my damn mind.

I do find that there tends to be a lot of bracketed commentary that asserts facts you could deduce from the text itself. They feel unnecessary.
