This book is so worth the commitment to its length. The audiobook is tremendous. I found myself rooting for so many characters and loathing others. I fell in love with Meg and grieved her mistreatment, but celebrated her wins also. Birdie is a fantastic character with so much spunk who realizes that she will do anything for those she loves. Such a great book! I’ll miss these characters.

I’m struggling to read this book. I keep going knowing that so many people like it, but I’m not invested in any of the characters and the storyline drags on and on. Cal and Margaret are about to connect, but you knew that from the description of the book so not sure why it has taken 1/3 of the book to get there.
