This book is messed up but also Jake was a terrible husband anyway

The way Lily talks reminds me of a child. Also makes no sense they didn’t just call the police and that she didn’t tell her husband the first night… seems like the kind of thing you’d tell your husband immediately.

I feel like too many bad things happen to the main characters throughout the series. Like they aren’t just investigating the crimes usually their family/friends or themselves are victims… seems like too many bad things happening to one group of people

Every time I say last chapter it ends at a place that makes me want to keep reading more

I think the guy is either his own father or Mary Alice’s father. The man may also be the actual killer.
