No wonder why there was a fifteen week wait for this book. It was worth it. So unrealistic. So gushingly heartwarming and dripping with sap. I’m hanging on every word.

Why am I rereading chapters? I could have been done with this book yesterday. I’m letting it consume my every thought. What is happening?!

Why am I laughing so hard? The first book was good, but this one is hilarious and charming. I cackled and swooned at, “Looking for Andie Anderson.”

Chapter 12: the classroom scene. 💀 Unbelievably unexpected. Something I’ll be thinking about for a while.

🔥🔥🔥🤤 I’m dreading the end of this read and annoyed I have to wait until the end of March to climb into Game On. It’s becoming increasingly more challenging to savor books like this.

I’m laughing, crying, and trying not to scream. I had no idea what I was wondering into and it’s too late to emotionally prepare. What an unbelievable gift 😭

I tried to pause this book and pick up another, but apparently, the universe (and a very persuasive friend) had other plans. Put it down yesterday, got a totally unsolicited text today saying I must read it. Coincidence? Mind control? Literary peer pressure? FINE, I’ll keep going—hope you’re happy, mysterious book forces.

This will be an intentionally slow read for me. I’ve been taking such thorough notes in the margins to discuss with the author. I’m mind blown that she remembers her childhood so well and hate that she experienced these challenges in childhood. I already recommend this book to anyone who has been repeatedly misdiagnosed or who has any type of BFRB (compulsive hair pulling, skin picking, nail biting, etc.).
