I had high hopes for this one, but getting through it feels like a chore. It’s bogged down with unnecessary details, and the spicy scenes land more awkward than enticing. Instead of devouring it in one sitting, I’m trudging through a few chapters a day like it’s assigned reading - and not the good kind.
