Solito is an eye opening account of the experience of the American immigrant. It is especially interesting and heartbreaking to learn about this experience through a child’s eyes. It made me wonder how a child can end up in this situation, where he is nations away from his parents and he must rely on the kindness of strangers to help him reconnect with his parents.
