The ending almost made me cry. Evoked strong, passionate emotions that could have made me cry if I wasn’t still a little confused as to the logic in this book, but oh well

I just sold over $300 in books from my shelf that I didn’t like, knew I would never read, or just didn’t meet my expectations. And I marked them down half price since I’m thrifting them. Three hundred freaking dollars in books.

I think this tells me I need to be a little wiser about the books I buy, cuz that’s more than $300 I spent just to give them away months/years later 😮‍💨

For me, it would be the fact that I’m German. I’m genuinely terrified to tell ppl I’m German bc of Germany’s history. not all Germans are bad. ppl equate Germans with Nazi, & it cuts deep when ppl do, bc, y’all, I’M GERMAN! Does that make me a Nazi?

Tis a shame the first real horror novel I ever read hasn’t scared me yet

There was legit an entire chapter of these four characters just bickering 🫩

There’s nothing better than drinking decaf iced coffee with calming Christmas music in the background while reading an adrenaline-pumping horror novel 😚

There are def some trigger warnings, but they’re mild, which I appreciate

The complexity of all these characters is insane, dude
