Chapter 13 is killer. I love this series because Christy is so easy to relate to and Robin Jones Gunn is an expert on familiarly but eloquently portraying the trials of the teenage years. Her literature is so powerful- even though I've read the series before, I was again brought to tears at the sunset scene in chapter 13. Gunn is outstandingly dependable.
