Why does the book page update keeps saying it has 688 or 516?? Literally the last page of my book says 498. I can literally see I’m closer to the end of the book than the beginning. It talkin about sum “40% done” nahh I’m more than 40% done. You can’t trick me.

The gold bug. It wasn’t that interesting. And the only black character in the story was used as comedic relief. Gave him an accent in the dialogue and everything. Bruh… Edgar you disappointed me.

I had to google them both to see if I actually understood what I was reading because I am not going to lie, I seem to have a general understanding of what is going on but Poe likes to ramble on and on when he describes stuff. At some point I just get so lost on what I’m reading.
