The gold bug. It wasn’t that interesting. And the only black character in the story was used as comedic relief. Gave him an accent in the dialogue and everything. Bruh… Edgar you disappointed me.

I read Ms. Found in a bottle and A descent into the Maekström.
I had to google them both to see if I actually understood what I was reading because I am not going to lie, I seem to have a general understanding of what is going on but Poe likes to ramble on and on when he describes stuff. At some point I just get so lost on what I’m reading.
