EVERYONE has delt with a Peter in some way shape or form a man straight from hell. I wish Anna would have caught on but when you’re 19 and it’s your first love it’s difficult! You come up with so many excuses to allow them to continue to treat you like garbage. I’m at part 2 of this book!

I am officially unwell. I’m currently staring at the wall because that plot twist just rearranged my entire brain. Martyr isn’t just a story; it’s a mirror. There are lines in here that I’ve thought a thousand times but was always too afraid to actually say out loud. It’s raw, it’s hauntingly beautiful, and I’m genuinely grieving the fact that I only have a few pages left!!

I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I was struggling to finish my usual fantasy series, but Martyr! broke the spell. Kaveh Akbar’s prose is incredible. it’s the kind of book that reminds you why you love reading in the first place. If you're in a reading slump, this is the cure.

As a Palestinian American, we know the history of the constant genocide but I continue to read these books for knowledge as I wasn’t there nor experienced anything like this. Of course it’s heartbreaking, emotional and depressing but imagine living it? The least you can do is educate yourself.

Wow. I went into this with no prior knowledge on the series. I like the speed of events that occur way more than the first book of ACOTAR. I am intrigued to understand Celaenas story on how she became who she is and how she’s gotten to where she is (trying not to spoil it lol). I’m really excited for this book!

Ughhhhh, ACOTAR! I’m so sad to be on the last book in this series!! Nesta took some growing on me I will say, but I hope her and cassian are mates and end up together or else I will rage!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like this book. I think it’s interesting to see the push of how you are suppose to be perceived because of your religion.
