Not sure I would read a second time but I will read it fully. Maybe revisit some chapters if I want to study the case .. other than that? Rather skip a second read on this. Once is good enough for me.

Better than I expected. I found this to be well done. There was a few things that could have improved things. It has stayed with me. I do believe I’ll read again

I am familiar with the case this story was based on.

But I walked into this not aware. It was a blind pick .. I read Jack Ketchums “hide and seek” book and thought it was well written.
Ehh.. reading this I just knew it had to be based on the actual child abuse case and in fact checking, it is.

The low ratings I’m certain is due to the subject matter NOT the writing.
