actually the least believable thing so far in this book is that an alien visited an IDF soldier (already unlikely) to deliver messages of love + universal healing but somehow forgot to mention to stop killing Palestinians (huh!)

seems ironic that psychiatrists can listen intently to persons who sincerely believe they are the reincarnation of Elvis, but are summarily unwilling to digest the accounts of those who believe they are abductees. does the distinct absence of a pathology scare them? it's the responsibility of all skeptics to be curious; after all, w/o curiosity, we'd still be performing exorcisms instead of administering psych care.

i just do not care man. i do not care. this dull ass book made me not care. the entire book, you know this guy's kid is dead. which is an abject tragedy, but the continual attempted mystification of his disappearance and personal character throughout the entirety of book made me want to pull my hair out. that should not be how i feel about a missing person by the end of a book !!
