marble, elly, gibbs, benny, byron, bert, bunny, etta pringle, covey, steve, lynette, lin, pearl, edwina, eleanor, mr. mitch, little man, sister mary, ETC ETC ETC. there are like 50 million characters in this book and they all have a back story and im so over it. it’s so hard keeping up with all these people and names and their individual stories 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

i’m gonna finish it but i feel like i already know what’s gonna happen

i’m gonna try to get through this… but literally each chapter is less than 3 pages long and it legit reads like a nursery rhyme.

okay no cause now i’m irritated. he literally spent the first 75% of the book reminding her that it’s casual that he doesn’t want to date her and he’s only interested in a hookup… then he just BLURTS out he loves her?? after they’ve both been on the same page about it being casual for WEEKS… and now he’s mad that she’s not professing her love back to him?? weird.

okay so he literally was mad at her for showing up unannounced to a family emergency because he felt they weren’t serious enough and he didn’t want her to meet his family… then 2 pages later he jumps out of bed and confesses that he’s in love with her? uh i guess.

i was under the impression that this was a romance? it appears i was sorely mistaken.

actively falling asleep while reading this. so boring.

… i am literally sobbing uncontrollably. i can barely type this.

i promise if what i THINK is going to happen happens this book is getting a ONE
