She doesn't reveal her super strength, because it's unbelievable? Like teleporting wasn't? Sorry, not buying that excuse for not telling Helen, the lady who wants to help her understand her ability. A simple I just don't want to give away all my secrets to strangers would have been more convincing.

Okay, I'll admit the way Trevor gets all tongue-tied around Chelsea is kinda cute. Kinda want to buy him a beer and tell him "better luck next time!"

Wait, she lives with her parents, not on campus. She suddenly finds herself stuck on a naval submarine, and hasn't thought once about what her parents might think when she doesn't come home?

Both Trevor and Chelsea use the phrase "yeah, whatever." Aside from individual goals, their voices are kind of similar, but exact phrases like this make them more indistinguishable.

"Because Valerie didn't know the very enemy we'd been warned about just waltzed aboard SeaSatellite5...and into my heart." Well, that escalated quickly.

Kaimi to a group of young boys. "Now scram, the lot of you. I have grown-up things to discuss with the pretty lady." Gah, I hate him, I like him, I hate him, I like him. Oh, Kaimi how you confuse me.

"Isn't he just the man who controls the armies?" Is she for real? What sort of person did she think had the authority to command an army exactly?

Chanon is back! *squeals* Okay, that's the second time he's mentioned needing to tell Estelle something. And he says he's not interested in her romantically... He's got to be related. An uncle or something, surely.

Estelle on Azariah's decision to send the entire army away: "It was a decision Azariah had to make." Eh? No. I disagree. Someone who cares about her safety above all else would not do this, not when there are badies currently tracking her. I'm with Michael on this one.

It strikes me as incredibly stupid for Azariah to have sent the army away. He's pissed at Chanon, fine. But the whole damn army? Sounds like a good time for Orontes to show up...you know, the badie who wants to kidnap Estelle. Remember him? *scowls at Azariah*

Chanon is a mystery. Estelle says he's acting creepy, but his detached, sort of protective behavior strikes me as almost brotherly...except surely Estelle doesn't have siblings...why wouldn't her parents have kept other siblings from Saicean as they did with her? Curious to see what he's all about.

Azariah: "They are nice, but they are still Oceanids." Not feeling Azariah at all. It's a good thing I adore Estelle. How she manages to not blow up in his face, I'll never know. Woman is so patient.

Estelle to Azariah: "I have a life away from you, remember? I wasn't born the day I met you."

Also, I don't the page #s on my electronic copy match up with the progress noted here. I'm on 311/428 according to my copy.

Woah, totally thought the mention of two moons was a typo, since it's the only indication that Kira isn't from Earth. Unless, I missed other more subtle clues, everything about Thaer is the same as Earth.

My inner scientist is sooo excited about this black hole explanation.
