Let me start by saying this book isn’t perfect. There were moments early on when I seriously considered dropping it—the story felt pretty weak at first. However, what truly carries the book are its characters. The interactions between Rook and Sun, and the way their relationship develops from frenemies to friends to partners, make it well worth reading.
