I love the coal mines and gritty atmosphere!! And of course the main characters are phenomenal.

Hmm. This has taken a turn for me. I still am impressed with the writing but I’m very jarred by two very huge plot holes. Like, huh? I’ll give it 40 more pages to start answering them or I’ll dnf.

You know when you get that tingly feeling in the beginning of the book and you just KNOW it’s going to be a 5 star? Yup. Got one 🙋🏼‍♀️

I’ll never think of black makeup tears the same way again.

Holy shit this is captivating! What great writing, I’m majorly impressed. I have Bloody Black and Queens of Morai unread on my kindle and I’ve clearly been sleeping on miss Rhiannon 🤯

Fantastic book

Almost done and have flown through it.

I’ve been glued to this since I started it. Is there actual witchcraft in this?!? 🪄🔮

Ugh, I can’t help but love these two women’s attachment styles. Especially watching it unfold during a trek through the underworld?

I love the character names! Reverie and Praer is so stinking cute

“I wanted her to pin me to this mattress like an exotic butterfly tacked to a spreading board.” 🤤💜

“An inadequate home is still a home if you’ve never found a place to call your own elsewhere.”

So stinkin’ good!

Fascinating so far!!

Omg thank you NetGalley, I am so excited to start this I’ve heard amazing things!!

I am intrigued in this world it’s so unique!!

Loving this. I’ve only read Lightlark by Alex but I see why everyone is going nuts over Starside. The girl can tell a story!

Damn good so far. I love the writing ❤️‍🔥

This is really good and oddly depicting details of my own life currently 🍎

Alex Aster is full of talent!! I’m so impressed already 🩷

I soft dnf this and come back later. I’ve got too many others that are higher priority

This is good not great. Gives me Lightlark vibes.

Emilia Hart can definitely write. I’m mesmerized and already care about these characters!

Whoa this is immaculate.
