So far, just started the actual epic and read the intro. 2 current thoughts: 1) this man LOVES a good yap and a run on sentence- but in the best way possible. His intro is tangential but written as if it was in verse? Fascinating to read. 2) i would be FASCINATED to see how this die-hard pro-USA man would feel about its current climate... excited for the poetry :))

So far, he has such an eloquent way of writing- also the jab at the Italian postal system is some of the best examples of comedic timing I've ever seen in a book
