doing a little reread before Brimstone

this book is more political than theological. lots of using scripture for her political views. Christians are all over the political spectrum but theologically i disagree with her at the cornerstone. She writes with the belief that scripture is symbolic, from our origin to end times (writes that the beast could be symbolic for white supremacy). Also states the bible “canonizes contradiction”. DNF at 60%

this author has a progressive perspective of scripture (such as believing the origin story is symbolic not literal) it is interesting reading different perspectives of mine and understanding how other people see our holy scripture. so far a very interesting read, not changing my mind but definitely widening my perspective!
