A book of rather indulgent pontificating, monologues, soliloquies and repitition.

Think I fell out of love with the series in the last book, this one completed the divorce.

Seems rather an indulgent book IMHO.

On the whole a good series.

Jefferson Mays seemed to fit the series.

This really is hard work.

All the enjoyment seems to have been sucked out of the story!

Unless it turns absolutely amazing, the ratings are all from fan boy/girls! 🤦‍♂️

Not the greatest writing in the world, Welsh character emphasised by using look up multiple times in a sentence! 🤦‍♂️

That said Gemma Dawson is at times even worse!

The book where Ben Bova gets you dislike nearly every character!

Not the most gripping tale, clichéd and dated views don't help.

Wondered previously, is it world building if you use earthly races; maybe worse with audio?

Hoping that My Lai with American accents utilised at some stage!

Is it lazy world building to project history into a fantasy?

With Roger Clark reading the books there's always allot of butchery, normally the Welsh and English languages!

Some chuckles, but all seems so forced and contrived; yes I know a book, not the usual narrative.

Put off for some time, so hopefully not a jaded palette. Obs palate but out of senility... 🤔
