THIS is why I stopped watching TV!!!! I haven’t even put a dent in this book and already I realize the show skips over MOST of the relationship buildup between Matthew and Diana. The show makes it seem like it was a whirlwind romance when really they were kicking it for a long while before all that started! Tea dates, yoga classes, the whole nine. 😒

How appropriate that DT has his own chapter between El Chapo and a Swiss Bank Heist 😌

So far 10/10!!!!! Bruh is hilarious 🤣 but also very informative. I don’t think I could have gotten through all of this information without these little side notes and metaphors.

Okay, okay… if it’s one thing I can’t stand from a female lead it’s constant self deprecating thoughts and behavior. It’s one thing to feel bad about a past mistake. But it’s entirely something else to keep reading the same “woe is me” and “I don’t deserve…” for what 11 chapters now? Like, girl…. 😒

The number of trigger warnings presented before the story even starts is comical! Like idek what half these triggers are but baby I am INTRIGUED already 😭

This book is pissing me off in the most necessary of ways… I’m hooked!
