been a pretty meh read so far. i really enjoyed zodiac academy (at least the first three books) and it was recommended thta i read this prequel in between, bjt imnkt enjoying this read much. i find elise's dynamic with the kings annoying. both books so far have just been fluff. nothing is building.

Im invested in the story but idk. theres been some cringy moments but this whole chapter is a really hard read. just uncomfortable.
