Also a really interesting thing about this book: average chapter length is 2 pages

Why is he calling out from work on a Wednesday if we explicitly established 15 pages ago that he doesn’t work on Wednesdays? Inconsistencies!!! I cannot abide.

Just want to say: If I ever saw a bear in the middle of the road and proceeded to total my car avoiding it, i would not immediately decide to sleep in the middle of the forest for the night. Y’know…because of the bear. But that’s just me.
