Feels like I’ve read two books already in one, but I’m finally seeing the pieces come together and am proper invested, let’s see how this pays off.

been so long since I committed to a new fantasy - I missed this genre so much

Carlo Rovelli takes me back to school in the best ways - learning when the world is your classroom

So gooood I’m annoyed I’m catching up to the latest release

I missed the sharpness of these novellas - the comedic timing is UGH so good

Dickensian storytelling with a monotonous style to the writing but appealing landscapes

I love reading about sadists yes

my mind has already decided this looks like 'the holdovers' and 'dead poets society' had a kid - and I'm very okay with that

I HAVE HAD TWO INSANELY BUSY DAYS AND I HAVE SPENT EVERY MOMENT NOT WORKING OR SLEEPING THINKING ABOUT READING THIS!

haven't read a romance in a hot minute (or atleast a contemporary one) - actually enjoying this so far

Glad I decided to reread the series for Silverborn, I’ve forgotten so much!

best believe I will be reading Silverborn with this world fresh in my mind - also these books are unbearably underrated !

Definitely more on the slower side than I expected for a book so short.

I want to read so bad, but I'm so busy and tired, all I do is work and sleep and eat. I love the work though so I'm going to allow myself to read slowly <3

took awhile to get used to reading murderbot in long-form but now I've grown quite attached -especially having just finished the series- very glad there are plenty more books in this series and a second season of the show to look forward to!

Genuinely enjoying the countryside nature of this - and the sibling contrast, very relatable.

I know I'm busy when I start reading a few paragraphs everytime I sit down, LIKE PLEASE

Dark Matter reminded me how much I love sci-fi and how I haven't read proper sci-fi in a hot minute

this is one of the first series that got me into sci-fi so I had to come back and finish it!

ALSO THERE IS AN APPLETV+ SHOW AND I DID NOT KNOW UNTIL NOW, I REPEAT- THERE IS A SHOW AND IT'S GOOD

a lot slower than I expected, we keep going in circles and it's starting to get tiring but lets see if it picks up

So far so....atmospheric? light academia vibes for sure

but not very interesting on the plot side, or even the characters tbh, curious to see how it progresses tho
