Just reached the halfway mark in Animal Farm. It’s wild how a story about talking animals from 1945 feels like a mirror to today’s political mess. Corruption, manipulation, threatening, it’s all here.

It’s hard to tell if I’m quoting the book or quoting the current ICE agents attacking our cities today.

In 1984, all marriages had to be approved by a committee, hints of love and eroticism would deny the marriage. The goal was to have babies, not pleasure and love. Similar to today’s maga republicans trying to control marriages, they just want babies to be born but not take care of them.

The red neckerchiefs are symbolic of red MAGA hats.
In today’s politics, republican sided ‘Newsmax’ is eerily similar to the ‘Newspeak’ that aims to narrow the range of thought and reduce words.

1984, is eerily similar to today’s MAGA party. Both 1984 and the MAGA movement reflect concerns about truth, control, and propaganda, but one is a fictional dystopia, while the other is a realworld political movement.
The Dems commit thought crimes if theyre ‘woke’. Thought police are ICE, maga republicans are the children spies. The telescreen is FOX news. The destruction of books and information…
