Vincent’s confession really starts to heat things up!

A great start to this book, it’s slowly unraveling characters and the kind of character they have. The backdrop on the anxiety of Hitlers rise to power, I also appreciate the Explanatory Notes section, something I would’ve appreciated from a certain book i just finished, sometimes it’s cool to add context and explanations, times change and so does language and ideas so thank you!

An interesting structure for a collection of poetry, if that’s what it really is?

Vav section was a breeze, the nurturing of an angel im assuming?

The end is near, the fairy story had potential and there’s this quality in his writing were if everything works it works great but when the test tubes shatter you tend to feel a bit empty

Gramma story pretty creepy, glad there was a last minute memorable entry into this collection, got like 2 stories left, let’s do this thing

Milkman stories were interesting, not spectacular but a great showcase of King’s creepy mind

Last story grotesque, one before pretty decent

Sand planet some funny sci fi I give it that, with beach boys that’s crazy

Just coasting along, handshake story wasn’t bad

The raft is fun, word processor from the gods was captivating but overall just an ok story

Warp travel short story predictable and pretty standard, the story after that is great though called “The Gig” was desperate for a good one that I zipped through this one effortlessly, a step in the right direction, hopefully next one can keep the momentum going.

Last couple of short stories haven’t been that compelling, scared that this might’ve been a bad idea, I gotta get through it though, I guess it’s hard to top The Mist. Let’s keep sailing away!

Monkey was great, not as compelling as The Mist but a fun read nonetheless, onto the next story!

In the middle of The Monkey, another amazing read, almost toward the conclusion!

The Mist will leave you without saying goodbye and wonder whatever happened? And let there be Tygers will just leave you and sort of shrug it off. About to start on The Monkey

The Mist could only have been written by King, poignant yet terrifying with an ounce of humor, an enjoyable read so far

A little more than halfway through “The Mist”. Completely drawn in and enjoying this book so far

Moving along, still feels unfocused and am nearing the end of the book which is not good

Not sure if I’m into the pacing of this book, it works at times but can become distracting when trying to become immersed into the story

Poignant stories from the main character, story is slowly moving along but an enjoyable read nonetheless

Spoke too soon, pretty cryptic and abstract, still readable though

For such an abstract approach to the material, it is surprisingly accessible to read, I’m immediately hooked!
