My perseverance is bountifully rewarded, as this tale astounds the mine and stokes the soul with its own perseverance steeled into the characters' struggles. While I dare not reveal and ruin the labor of pressing through depressing realities and brutal conditions certain characters face, there are numerous lessons and reminders to steel your own endeavors and personal labors.

While my two, earlier attempts at reading this tome of a tale ended in lacklustered frustration, this third attempt has struck a veritable Tombstone of wonder at Sanderson's dazzlingly complex Roshar, unveiled further with each turned page (or words heard, while listening via audiobook, haha).

I am hooked now, rooting for Kaladin, commiserating with Szeth, mulljng with Dhalinar, anxious with Shallan...

I am utterly captivated and pleasantly entranced by the magic Steinbeck spins from the spindle of the seemingly mundane!

It beckons me further up and further in, just as I've experienced as I read Wild At Heart, and my heart wants to pick up pace, begin to jog, to sprint, and hopefully take flight!
