My perseverance is bountifully rewarded, as this tale astounds the mine and stokes the soul with its own perseverance steeled into the characters' struggles. While I dare not reveal and ruin the labor of pressing through depressing realities and brutal conditions certain characters face, there are numerous lessons and reminders to steel your own endeavors and personal labors.

While my two, earlier attempts at reading this tome of a tale ended in lacklustered frustration, this third attempt has struck a veritable Tombstone of wonder at Sanderson's dazzlingly complex Roshar, unveiled further with each turned page (or words heard, while listening via audiobook, haha).

I am hooked now, rooting for Kaladin, commiserating with Szeth, mulljng with Dhalinar, anxious with Shallan...

I am utterly captivated and pleasantly entranced by the magic Steinbeck spins from the spindle of the seemingly mundane!

It beckons me further up and further in, just as I've experienced as I read Wild At Heart, and my heart wants to pick up pace, begin to jog, to sprint, and hopefully take flight!

Austin Cunningham is on page 43 of 304 of What Happened To You?: Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing
This Book has educated me on God designed my brain to function, how we physically process information, and where trauma and dysfunction damage the rails and reroute our wirings (emotionally, physically, and, though not discussed, spiritually).

God has answered prayers of mine to better understand myself through reading this, and prayers to understand how to raise and protect healthy children for Babe & I.

Austin Cunningham is 27% done with The Soul of Shame: Retelling the Stories We Believe About Ourselves
Enlightening has reading this book bend, for I am noticing the effects of shame within my heart and mind (and spirit?) As I progress through these pages. The more I consider the nature of Shane, and how hell-bent it is on disrupting people's lives Dash and quite poignantly my own Dash the more I can't dismiss that shame seems targeted, like there is malicious intent and force behind its insidious machinations.
