Interesting so far, but too many prefaces and introductions.

This author knows how to dumb stuff down! I mean that in such a good way. I feel like he’s talking directly to me as I read this book. Only finished ch 1, but already so impressed.

It’s interesting, not that deep but I wasn’t looking for that. Seems to be a self help book in relation to prayer.

Cardinal Ratzinger continues to speak at a graduate school level. Honestly we could probably devout college level courses to his writings alone. It offers deep reflection, yet I continue to struggle to grasp his intellect.

A deep deep dive into religion and relationships between different religions so far! Interesting stuff

A negative start by really really explaining evil. Like it’s real. He gives hard true examples. But let him cook! He even admits to non-Christian rejections of God that supposedly solve the problem, but argues that still doesn’t do it justice. This book is great so far.

This might start my next obsession: Greek philosophy

Actually really interesting and makes me really want to dive into the NT, especially Paul’s letters. They’re really the solution to a lot of division within Christianity today.

Peter Kreeft COOKED so far!

A profound read so far for such a short book. I never made the connection between the washing of the feet to the Eucharist. Christ’s sacrificial love, he loves us even to enter willingly into his passion.

Where has Cardinal Newman been my whole life? This guy rocks.

Includes some heavily and strong orthodox and based takes on the afterlife and the end of the world.

The chapter on the papacy was more arguing for Peter’s leadership and Roman privacy. The chapter on bishops made it sound like a lot of pressure. We need to pray for our bishops (and Pope Leo XIV)

This book is so good.
