I’m obsessed. This may be my favourite Emily Henry book… I can’t get enough 🤦🏻‍♀️

I like Wyn….the banter, the vibes… amazing

But then I remember he dumped her over a 4 min phone call….

And given my track record with 2 Emily Henry books…he’s probably going to go MIA as well

Okay, I’m down for a book to jump between past and present but I wish this one would make it more obvious

And then his sister turns up, telling the fmc SHE has to go see HIM. No. Maybe cos I’m stubborn, but I’d be like ‘why do I have to?’ The guy has a loooot of making up to do

I’m sorry but the idea of a guy wearing yellow rubber gloves to wash the dishes and that being hot cracks me up 😂

Okay, so far I really like this

It’s messy, I feel like the mmc would normally irritate me, but I’m so here for all of it

the storyline with Este is ridiculous

Would you throw away your life, your safety, your family…. For a girl you’ve only known for 20 seconds?

I don’t find that believable

Okay, I can’t take it anymore, so many times I’ve wondered this…. If you’re short on water, and don’t know when you’ll have access to it again… why would you waste it on washing your face?

Maybe that’s really unhygienic of me, but washing my face would be the least of my worries 😂

Sooo Vander is scared to cross the desert because of that beast… I’m looking at the map and there’s obviously another way to reach the Gods… or did I skip something crucial? 😂

I feel like there’s so many flaws in the book

Maybe I’m just stupid, but I have no idea what this world looks like

Each House lives on a different planet?? Soo confused

Maybe it’s because I’m always reading this at 12-2am that none of the plot is registering in my half asleep brain

Because I know so many people love this series…

But every time my eyes glance over at my kindle I groan. I don’t care 😂

There’s a 2 year time jump right? Idk why but that’s bugging me

But I do appreciate the fact the fmc isn’t another weak, pushover virgin

This may be my favourite Emily Henry book (I’ve only read Beach Read)

I’m so tempted to give it 5 stars hmm

The set up of this book… really not good for my trust issues / overthinking brain 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is one of the moments where I’m sooo grateful my boyfriend doesn’t have any female friends 😂

It scares me how a guy can seem so perfect, cares about the small things, treats you well etc… you get engaged, you’re what? 3 weeks away from the wedding… he goes on his bachelor party, sleeps with his closest female friend, the one he kept saying is like a sister, dumps you, and the proceeds to marry her a few months later.

I don’t think I’d ever recover..

I don’t know how I’m going to rate this book. It feels wrong to be like ‘your experience deserved x amount of stars.’

It’s so obvious who the mystery wrong number bloke is….. what I don’t get is how mr serious is texting her whilst coaching

Soooo they’re starting to sext, she accidentally pressed video chat, cancels and apologises via text…. And he ghosts her for the rest of the day?

Why didn’t he text back earlier? It makes no sense cos he was obviously on his phone

I can’t tell whether the mmc has an issue with Americans, or just the fmc. Either way, he’s a cold and unsociable. I can’t imagine him willingly texting a stranger….?

Hmm? You can’t have your phone out when the plane is landing?? Never in my life have I heard that
