I really don’t understand the hype of this book as it’s cliche mafia with insta love that’s been done 100 times.

Paused at 78% and honestly should have done it sooner. Might come back and finish later but I was struggling with boredom on it.

Giving this harem a try based on the elemental magics in play. Maybe that can help me over look the “sharing “ issues

So it’s good. It’s playing into the deep trauma the crew has and building a family with survivors. Along the way learning how much of the stolen Monarch has loyalists and how much is people see the reality of this tyrant.
But Ann is getting tunnel focused on revenge so will her crew pull her back from loosing it all.

Having a really difficult time finishing this. It’s getting harder to read the same plot points repeating over and over.

DNF holy crap this writer jumps all over the place so much you can’t understand WTH is going on.

It wasn’t that it was bad. This personally gave me the ick because I hate medical stuff. It creeps me out and I didn’t know going into this book.

I don’t know that I’ve seen a poorer quality excuse for writing in a long time. I think there may only be 10 complete sentences in the 30% of this book I completed. It’s mostly fragments and a writer trying to be overly poetic in a really bad way.

My first Abby book and it was adorable. I absolutely needed this.

So far the angst and wanting to scream at these characters is strong. Just kill Dante already I’m so over his shit.

Please don’t get me wrong, I know trauma and loss. But this is 600 pages of a girl rage destroying cities over her sister…..and nicknames like Sami that seriously have a Winchester irk to it. I don’t think I can finish this.
