I am already searching for spoilers, whicb is never a good sign.

And … I'm done. DNF

I’ve invested 3.5 hours of reading and I’m ready for the FMC to do something. The pacing is a weird combination of creakily slow and instantaneous everything. Insta-friends, insta-family, insta-lust … and yep, there’s at least one dragon.

WHY do I read these? 73 pages in and absolutely nothing has happened except bad recipes and inane chatter that would bore my grandmother.

It’s probably not a good sign I’m only this far in and already hate most of these characters. And the writing style. I’m not sure this is worth my reading energy when I have other books in the “due soon” library category.

This is taking FOREVER. It was an enjoyable story 150 pages ago. Now I wish it would just wrap up.

Meh. It's just … boring. This reads like an overlong Harlequin romance right now.

I returned this book to the library and didn't realize I hadn't finished. I really didn't like it!

I think I kind of hate this book ...
