i feel so bad for ron omfg :( i'm not gonna pretend i don't understand where harry's coming from, but that doesn't change the fact that that's his best friend?? tbh his, hermione's, and the twins' reactions killed me a bit. i'm happy his mom was so supportive, at least. let ron have something I beg.

i'm once again floored at the fact that harry STILL wants to work for the ministry. fudge fucking sucks, the system is worse, like... boy you can do SO much better.

the prose in this is phenomenal

again, i felt like most of this chapter could have been cut out 😭 a lot of it was literally “and then they went here… talked to this person… this person said this… oh we’re going here now!”
like i’m bored :/

as much as i love reading about my faves just cleaning/hanging out, i feel like the latter half of this chapter could have been cut out 😭

i loved the conversation at the dinner table, very well done. had me annotating like crazy

harry’s immediately angsty. i’m SO curious to rediscover how different the tone is in this book (trying not to get my hopes up too much, but a part of me is excited)
