Im not sure how I feel about this book so far. At the very beginning I was very into it. I’ll be honest though that the rape stuff scenes are a complete NO GO for me. I read a lot of fantasy and some dark stuff, but if a book goes into that direction it’s usually a DNF for me. Im going to power through this because I know so many people love this one. So fingers crossed!!

The book starts slow. You aren’t necessarily rooting for Rin. She is just out of control and a “loose cannon”.
Now she is being to be able to control her power as well as getting over her opium addiction. I really enjoy this character development.
