By the order of Zeus, Calypso allows Odysseus to leave her island to return home to Ithaca. He builds a raft which is destroyed by a storm on the rocks near another island where Odysseus tries to find shelter for the night.

Book IV (2nd Half): Telemachus a Pesistratus awake in the morning and learn from Menelaus that Odysseus is being held with no escape by Calypso on an island.

One of the suitors, Antinous gathers a crew and sets sail from Ithaca to find Telemachus and stop him from returning home with his father. Penelope learns of Telemachus’ plan and is distraught, only being consoled when Athene told her Telemachus would return

Book IV (1st half): Telemachus, guided by Peisistratus, son of Nestor arrive in Lacedaemon, home of Menelaus, who is hosting two wedding feasts for his children. Although they do not immediately identify themselves, Menelaus and his wife Helen quickly identify Telemachus as the son of Odysseus and offer him shelter and information about his father in the morning.

Book III: Telemachus, Athena, and the crew arrive in Pylos to the welcome of Nestor during an offering ceremony and feast. Telemachus asks what Nestor might know of his father. Nestor says they had split apart from a group that had previously split at Troy so he does not know. Nestor also tells of a similar situation where Orestes took the house and killed the family of Menalaus, who he should speak to in Lacedaemon.

Book II: Telemachus asks the townspeople and subjects of his father to join him on his quest to learn the truth of his dad and to restore his house. They are largely unreceptive. Athena disguises herself as Mentor, a friend of the discouraged Telemachus, to urge the son to find his father. She then disguises herself as Telemachus to convince the crew to join him and get a ship. Shortly after, they embark to the sea.

Book I: Zeus speaks to the Gods in the halls of Olympus and claims the humans are incorrectly putting the blame for their hardships on the Gods when Athena points out that Odysseus has been held hostage by Calypso on the island of Ogygia. Athena (Pallas) disguises herself as Mentes, the king of Taphos to speak with Telemachus (son of Odysseus) about getting rid of Penelope’s suitors and finding his father.

Chhun is ordered to break away from the group trying to take the engine room and take the bridge ASAP. Along the way, just before he would otherwise have been confronted with guards, he has a series of ship doors convieniently lead him along a safe path to the bridge.

The six person kill team makes an ‘indelible’ entry to the ship from the hullbuster and make their way to the engine room.

We see the same period of time from Tom’s POV desperately trying to stop the plot. He finally gets a chance after a short scuffle on the bridge to set and delay the jump to hyperspace to buy time for the Republic.

The Kill team is called to action right as they complete their training session. The six of them board via a hullbuster and make an ‘indelible’ entry.

X/Tom begins to panic while Scarpia tells him about another change to the plans which would mean the message Illuria sent to the Republic would have the wrong location for the weapons rendezvous. Captain Eliyah Deynolds realizes what’s happening with the suspicious corvette now above Ankalore and readies the troops.

X/Tom has a rendezvous with Illuria in the sauna on the Smuggler’s End while the beach party continues. They form a plan to stop the bomb plot. The next day Scarpia tells X/Tom there will be a battalion of heavily armoured zhee on board while Illuria sends the message.

The kill team unknowingly prepares with simulations they keep failing and are beginning to get nervous about if they had to do it for real.

The kill team (who have decided to rebrand to Victory Company) interrogate the journalist who told X/Tom he could acquire the ordnance from Jarref Varuud. Andien shows a video of her interrogating Varuud, revealing Scarpia was behind the Kublar bombings and is planning more.

Tom gets paranoid about Scarpia’s impending plan to bomb the House of Reason and leaves a beach party to try to send a message from the boat.

Killing the legionnaires has alerted the rest of the ship so X/Tom and Frogg make a hasty retreat. X/Tom begins to realize it may be difficult for the Republic to realize he’s one of them.

Chhun, Wraith, Twenties, Exo, and the rest of the kill team complete another successful HVT capture on a Zhee militia leader who knows the whole story behind the Chiasm and Camp Forge bombings.

X/Tom comes up with a plan for Scarpia to bomb another ship by feigning a ship emergency and begins executing it.

X/Tom and Scarpia disguise themselves as maintenance workers and begin infiltrating the ship. While killing a trio of legionnaires X/Tom finds in increasingly more difficult to justify his actions.

The kill team successfully captures Cantrell Saan, who seems very cooperative.

Scarpia asks X/Tom to kill Cantrell Saan, with the knowledge he has a kill team coming to get information out of him.

The team joyously reunites with Exo and they tell him the news about being selected for dark ops.

X/Tom spends some time with Scarpia and Frogg luxuriating onboard the Smuggler’s End on the planet Pthalo. He notices he begins to like the idea of becoming Tom full-time.

The squad waits for their meeting with Owens by listening to Masters’ theory on the origin of all humanoid species. Owens arrives and reveals the HVT of their mission to be the capture Cantrell Saan, a government worker turned arms smuggler.

Chhun hesitates to kill 3 Koob farmers they find on the way to the Chaism wreckage, who end up being killed by Andien instead. He begins to question if he’s lost his edge.

In the debrief with Keller, Ford and Chhun are told to choose their kill team squad from the survivors of the Battle of Kublar. When they say they want Exo, they find out has been court-martialed by Devers. Later they go to change his mind.

Lieutenant Chhun and Captain Ford have their battlefield promotions made permanent at a meeting with Commander Keller. At the same meeting, Captain Owen’s recruits our two main characters to a kill team and if that goes well, into dark ops.

Chhun and Ford return to Kublar with Owens and notice Andien Broxin is also on the shuttle. They talk to her and learn she’s in nether ops trying to find the bombs’ source.

X/Tom finds the ordnance he needs from a Repub Navy officer who’s on leave and gets into a meeting with Frogg/Scarpia. During the meeting, he sees Camp Forge, Kublar, and the Chiasm on a holotable, but doesn’t recognize any of them.

X/Tom goes through with his plan of infiltrating the Chiasm, setting up the bomb, escaping, and then detonating the other bomb in Camp Forge.

Flashing back to 2 months before the battle of Kublar, we get introduced to X/Tom and his deadly search for Scarpia, an arms dealer supplying the MCR, who he suspects is now going by the name Frogg.

To gain Frogg’s trust X/Tom now must acquire some heavy explosives for a crew that is going to blow up a Republic capital ship. While looking for explosives in Ankalore, X/Tom kills two shed who attack him at night.

The assault team continues searching the ship and eventually finds an enemy force. Chhun, Wraith, and Exo lead the charge and force the MCR to retreat until they reach a T-junction where they have a KL-5 turret set up around an ambush corner.

Masters and his crew have made their way behind the KL-5 crew and take them out to help out Kill Team. They then make their way to the bridge and capture the bridge team.

After a short prologue which acts as a combined epilogue of the previous two stories, a small crew of marines board a seemingly empty ship with Chhun, Ford (Wraith), and Exo.
